Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Just Abott (ranked 4566 p4p, 3569 weight class) and Igor Vi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vi's choice of entrance music: Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley. Igor Vi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Just Abott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Vi! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vi moves into the clinch successfully.
Abott tries to pull guard but Vi won't allow it.

Vi wants to get back to striking at distance but Abott won't allow it.
Abott jumps into guard, dragging Vi to the mat.
Vi preventing the sweep. Abott doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Abott wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Abott is on top in guard.
Abott content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Abott working the head and body with strikes. Abott has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Abott postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vi looks a forlorn figure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abott controlling his opponent. Abott lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Abott controlling from mount. Abott lands a heavy elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abott controlling from the full mount. Abott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Abott has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Abott landing strikes from the mount and Vi is in trouble! Abott with the ground and pound from mount. Abott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vi trying desperately to get to his feet.
Abott controlling the pace for now. Vi looks winded! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vi is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Abott controlling from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Just Abott dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Abott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Vi kicks off Abott and gets to his feet. Abott fails with a takedown attempt. Vi gets caught flat footed, as Abott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Abott showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Abott stands and throws Vi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abott happy to just control the position for now. Abott in side control lands a decent elbow. Abott passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Vi! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vi can do anything to dispel that myth. Vi is breathing heavily. Abott sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Abott looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Just Abott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vi tries to buck Abott off but he can't manage it. Abott controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abott raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abott controlling from mount. Abott lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Vi hang on? Abott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Abott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Abott is taking a breather. Vi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Abott seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vi for as long as he can get away with. Abott continues to stall. Vi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Abott with a couple of short strikes. Vi is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Vi in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Abott is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Vi is rocked! Abott controlling from mount. Vi is still in real trouble! Can Abott finish him? Abott has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vi's face.
Abott lands a big shot to the head and Vi winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Just Abott! In defeat, Igor Vi stepped up to the mic, saying 'He wouldn't survive another 5 minutes with me.'.
