Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mapple Syrup (ranked 4131 p4p, 2832 weight class) and Frederic Bastiat (ranked 534 p4p, 399 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frederic Bastiat!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastiat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bastiat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Syrup tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bastiat manages to circle out of the way.
Syrup really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bastiat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Syrup moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mapple Syrup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Syrup shoots in looking for a takedown but Bastiat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Syrup's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bastiat throws a counter combo.
Syrup is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bastiat.
It looks like Mapple Syrup has been cut.
Bastiat paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Syrup is rocked!
Bastiat lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Syrup falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frederic Bastiat!
In his post fight interview, Frederic Bastiat started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
