Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Clemens (ranked 1463 p4p, 2059 weight class) and Corey McGraugh (ranked 200 p4p, 262 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Clemens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey McGraugh!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGraugh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clemens sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McGraugh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Clemens on the side of the head.
McGraugh has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Clemens slips under a jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGraugh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clemens - the referee stops the clock and McGraugh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clemens. McGraugh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and McGraugh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clemens's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGraugh wants to advance to full mount but Clemens doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

McGraugh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McGraugh throws an off balance right hand
and Clemens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clemens throws a shot from downtown. McGraugh moves away and avoids it.
McGraugh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clemens sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGraugh, as that shot connected.
Clemens wants to slow McGraugh down by chopping away at his legs.
McGraugh tries to clinch but Clemens is having none of it.

McGraugh throws a jab when Clemens was well out of range.
Clemens throws a body shot but no joy.
McGraugh tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Clemens walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McGraugh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
McGraugh darts in looking for a takedown but Clemens gets double underhooks and turns McGraugh into the cage.
McGraugh swings widly with a right hand
and Clemens counters with a body kick.
Clemens connects with a single shot there.
McGraugh misses with a hook
and Clemens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGraugh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Clemens counters with a good low kick that McGraugh was not able to check.
McGraugh throws a jab but it's blocked by Clemens.
Clemens throws a chopping leg kick but McGraugh manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Clemens has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clemens there as he acknowledges the shot.
Clemens throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGraugh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Clemens defends well and McGraugh ends up having to push Clemens into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

McGraugh is pressing down on Clemens's thigh, looking to free his foot. Clemens is holding on for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McGraugh goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Clemens rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McGraugh's guard! Nice work there by Clemens!
McGraugh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clemens can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McGraugh is trying to control the position but Clemens postures up.

McGraugh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Clemens manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

McGraugh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clemens was covering up waiting for the punch and McGraugh finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McGraugh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Clemens.
I think Clemens has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
