The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poporovkov darts in and clinches Hamill up against the cage.
Hamill is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Poporovkov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Poporovkov lands an elbow that stopped Hamill in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Matt Hamill has been cut.
Hamill wants to take the fight to the mat but Poporovkov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
