Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Abner (ranked 2390 p4p, 3157 weight class) and Ivars Ivanovs (ranked 296 p4p, 369 weight class). Ivanovs has chosen Beastie Boys - Intergalactic as his entrance music. Ivars Ivanovs will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivars Ivanovs!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abner throws a head kick that misses.
A shot to the body from Ivanovs misses
enabling Abner to counter with a crisp jab.
Abner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ivanovs.
Abner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ivanovs clinches.
Abner goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Abner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ivanovs scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Uncle Abner has been cut.
Ivanovs fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Abner is out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Abner.
Ivanovs blocks a head kick by Abner.
Ivanovs misses with a jab to the body
and Abner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abner loads up on a big right hand but Ivanovs slips the punch.
Ivanovs throws a body shot but no joy.
Ivanovs drops Abner with a beautiful combination! Abner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ivanovs is looking for the KO!
Ivanovs tries to clinch but Abner is having none of it.
Abner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ivanovs misses the body punch
and Abner counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ivanovs misses the shot to the body.
Ivanovs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abner manages to avoid it.
Abner lands a nice shot that snaps Ivanovs's head back.
A jab from Ivanovs finds it's way through Abner's defenses.
Uncle Abner's cut is getting worse.
Abner with a hook.
Ivanovs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Abner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ivanovs scrambles back to his feet.
Ivanovs throws a head kick but Abner moves out of range.
Abner dodges the punch combination from Ivanovs.
Abner avoids the body shot from Ivanovs.
Abner misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivanovs rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Abner counters with a crisp one two that drops Ivanovs! Abner thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ivanovs to his feet! Ivanovs is in big trouble!
Ivanovs is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abner ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Ivanovs out cold! The fight is over!
