Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Hanson (ranked 5154 p4p, 24470 weight class) and Aaron Tate Jr (ranked 500 p4p, 552 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Hanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Tate Jr! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tate Jr lands with an uppercut that bounces Hanson off the cage and back into range. Hanson closes the distance looking to clinch and Tate Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hanson fails in his attempt to clinch. Tate Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tate Jr lunges at Hanson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hanson's hand. Hanson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tate Jr, pushing him back against the cage. Hanson trying to stall but Tate Jr improves his position.

Hanson prevents Tate Jr from breaking the clinch. Hanson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tate Jr working hard to break the clinch. Tate Jr wants to break free but Hanson has control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson has Tate Jr pressed against the cage, preventing Tate Jr from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tate Jr swings wildly with an uppercut but Hanson uses good head movement to avoid it. Tate Jr on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Tate Jr is looking to control Hanson's arms but Hanson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tate Jr has his back to the cage. Tate Jr lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hanson backwards. Tate Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tate Jr lands a jab to the head.
Hanson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tate Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hanson tries to clinch up but Tate Jr circles away and keeps his distance. Hanson darts in trying to clinch and Tate Jr counters with a nice uppercut. Hanson pushes Tate Jr up against the cage in a clinch. Tate Jr is trying to force a seperation but Hanson has the dominant position. Tate Jr is trying to push Hanson away but Hanson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tate Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hanson is rocked! Tate Jr throws a pinpoint strike between Hanson's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hanson crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Tate Jr scores a great knockout victory!
