Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ivy swivels and escapes.
Salvacion throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ivy.
Salvacion wants to control but Ivy postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Ivy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Ivy misses with a kick to the body
and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Ivy shrugs it off.
Salvacion drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ivy is looking for a sweep.
Ivy tries to escape but Salvacion is in control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salvacion moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Ivy is trying to get back to his feet.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ivy is not content to let Salvacion control the position.

Ivy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salvacion did well to prevent Ivy getting side control.

Ivy tries to stand but Salvacion is controlling from the bottom.

Ivy wants to stand but Salvacion has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Poison Ivy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ivy but Ivy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ivy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ivy's guard.

Ivy has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Salvacion has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Salvacion tries to score a body lock takedown but Ivy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Salvacion tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ivy just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ivy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ivy dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Ivy's head and hops out.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a head kick.
Ivy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salvacion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ivy is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Ivy circles away and we're back to standing.

Ivy dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ivy shoots in but no luck this time.
Ivy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salvacion shoots in and drives through. Ivy sprawls well.
Ivy stuffs the takedown.
And Ivy tries to counter it with a takedown but Salvacion pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ivy misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It appears Salvacion was looking to counter with a kick there.
Both fighters circling a little - Salvacion finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt.
Ivy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Poison Ivy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ivy but Ivy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ivy gets a double leg takedown into Salvacion's guard.

Poison Ivy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Ivy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
