The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrovic cracks Palica with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Djuro Palica has been cut.
Nice jab there from Petrovic.
Palica on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Palica gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Petrovic.
Petrovic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Palica in his tracks.
That has opened up Djuro Palica's cut even more.
Petrovic cracks Palica with an open hand slap.
Palica shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Petrovic drops Palica with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Palica looks back up at him and smiles so Petrovic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Palica is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circle momentarily. Petrovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Palica is still on wobbly legs! Can Petrovic finish him?
An inside leg kick from Palica misses.
Palica seems to have recovered his senses.
Petrovic drops Palica with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Palica looks back up at him and smiles so Petrovic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The cut above Djuro Palica's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Petrovic connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Palica to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Petrovic!
