The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMillian wants to clinch.

McMillian is looking to advance position but Wilkerson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Wilkerson has control of McMillian's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McMillian regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Wilkerson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now McMillian is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McMillian seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
McMillian must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilkerson is on top in guard.
