Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack McScramble (ranked 1359 p4p, 1029 weight class) and Jack Waller (ranked 137 p4p, 109 weight class). Waller has chosen Snoop Dogg - Murder Was the Case as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack McScramble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Waller!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Waller. Those never looked like landing.
McScramble steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Waller.
McScramble shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Waller counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Good exchange - Waller coming out on top.
McScramble has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zenarals' House in the buildup to the fight.
McScramble keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jack Waller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McScramble looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McScramble lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Jack Waller has been cut.
Waller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Waller throws a hook to the side of McScramble's head but McScramble sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Waller throws a jab but it's blocked by McScramble.
McScramble throws out a powerful jab.
McScramble lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Waller at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Waller doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Waller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McScramble misses the shot to the body.
McScramble takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Waller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McScramble was well out of range. Poor timing from Waller.

McScramble is looking to wear down Waller with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from McScramble is defended easily by Waller.

Waller connects with a right hand. McScramble shakes it off.

Waller comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

McScramble drops down looking for a counter takedown but Waller sprawls and moves away.
McScramble fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack McScramble. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Waller lands with a hook. McScramble tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

McScramble tries to clinch but Waller is having none of it.
McScramble walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McScramble lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McScramble looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Waller is fending him off so far but McScramble persists. Nope, Waller circles away and we're back to standing.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether McScramble might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Waller comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McScramble takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Waller misses the shot to the body.
McScramble misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Waller.
McScramble throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Waller throws out a counter right but McScramble avoids it with no problem.
McScramble shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Waller but Waller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Waller avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McScramble takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Waller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McScramble manages to avoid it.

McScramble has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McScramble passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Waller is trying to get back to half guard.

McScramble swings around for an armbar but Waller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McScramble's guard.

McScramble is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Waller defends well.

Waller wanted to stand there but McScramble had control of the position.
McScramble has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Waller has passed into side control.

Waller decides to stand back up. Waller steps back and let's McScramble get back to his feet.

McScramble feints and as Waller raises his hands in defense, McScramble changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Waller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Waller works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and McScramble decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Waller's guard.
McScramble postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Waller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

McScramble has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Waller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Waller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Waller won't allow McScramble to sweep him here.
McScramble controls Waller momentarily but Waller frees himself.

McScramble is looking for a triangle but Waller pushes his legs off easily.

I've got Waller winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
