Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 4105 p4p, 2509 weight class) and Marty Robbins (ranked 523 p4p, 356 weight class). Robbins has chosen Marty Robbins - Big Iron as his entrance music. Marty Robbins acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Custer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 48 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marty Robbins! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Robbins. Beautiful body shot. Custer throws a leg kick but Robbins sees it coming and checks it nicely. Robbins throws a looping overhand right but Custer ducks down to avoid it. Robbins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Robbins throws a sloppy head kick and Custer moves out of range easily. Robbins tries to bum rush Custer with a series of wild strikes but Custer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Custer quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Custer throws a sloppy head kick and Robbins counters by moving into the clinch. Custer tries to work over Robbins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Custer misses with a punch to the body.
Robbins prevents Custer from breaking the clinch. Robbins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Robbins scores with a hook to the body. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Robbins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Robbins scores with a hook to the body. Robbins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Robbins gets through Custer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A short left from Robbins. Custer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Robbins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Robbins has Custer pressed against the ropes, preventing Custer from circling away and getting back to striking at range. I was talking to Custer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut. Custer is breathing heavily. Robbins scores with a shoulder strike. Robbins lands a damaging elbow. Robbins lands an elbow inside. Robbins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Custer backwards. Robbins tries to work over Custer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Robbins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Custer struggles to land a body shot inside as Robbins controls his hands.
Robbins misses with a punch to the body.
Custer breaks the clinch.
Robbins swings for the body but Custer moves out of range.
Robbins throws an off balance right hand
and Custer counters with a nice uppercut. Robbins throws a right hand that misses
and Custer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Marty Robbins has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Robbins scores with a body shot.
Custer throws a low kick but Robbins moves out of range easily. Robbins swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Robbins connects with an inside leg kick. Robbins moves into range and clinches up with Custer. Custer lands a shoulder strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robbins tries to throw a body punch but Custer avoids it by throwing Robbins back against the ropes. Custer has a couple of punches blocked by Robbins.
Robbins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Robbins has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Robbins there as he acknowledges the shot. Custer has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Robbins. Robbins avoids the body shot from Custer.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Robbins checks a leg kick. Robbins lands with a hook. Custer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Custer misses with the body kick and Robbins counters with a low kick, right behind Custer 's knee. Robbins dips to his left and cracks Custer with an uppercut! Robbins scores with a jab to the body. Robbins fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Custer throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Robbins connects with a quick right hand that sends Custer tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Marty Robbins! During a confident post fight interview, Marty Robbins thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
