These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Norris!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris takes the fight into the clinch.

Norris has picked Bagwell up - he's going for a ride! Norris dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Norris seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Norris seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Ken Bagwell has been cut.
Bagwell is trying to stand up here but Norris is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Norris trying to mount his opponent but Bagwell defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bagwell trying to control but Norris postures up.

Norris seems to be working for a kimura but Bagwell defends the submission attempt.

Norris looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Norris slips a nice elbow through Bagwell's hands, connecting with Bagwell's forehead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Norris passes to full mount!
Bagwell looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Norris avoids the attempt from Bagwell to control.

Norris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bagwell has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bagwell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Norris unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Bagwell wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Norris celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Norris!
