Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daday Dadaeff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Trujillo!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trujillo digs a good body shot into Dadaeff's ribs.
Dadaeff uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trujillo.
Dadaeff was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Trujillo keeps the fight on the outside.
Dadaeff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It seemed like Trujillo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A swing and a miss from Dadaeff.
Dadaeff misses with an uppercut. Trujillo saw that one coming.
Dadaeff throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Trujillo counters with a left and a right that stings Dadaeff.
Trujillo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dadaeff.
Dadaeff looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A slow jab from Dadaeff misses its intended target.

letting Dadaeff counter with a right hand.
Dadaeff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Trujillo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Dadaeff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trujillo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dadaeff connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trujillo. Trujillo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Trujillo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dadaeff.
Dadaeff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trujillo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Trujillo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Dadaeff defending well as Trujillo loads up on a big left hand.
Trujillo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dadaeff works the jab nicely.

Dadaeff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dadaeff throws a jab but it's blocked by Trujillo.

Daday Dadaeff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dadaeff bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Trujillo moves out of range of the leg kick from Dadaeff.
A punch lands to the side of Dadaeff 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Trujillo throws a body shot but no joy.
Dadaeff tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Trujillo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Trujillo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Trujillo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dadaeff was well out of range. Poor timing from Trujillo.

Trujillo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dadaeff lands with an uppercut that bounces Trujillo off the cage and back into range.
Trujillo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dadaeff tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Trujillo avoids the attempt from Dadaeff to control.
Trujillo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Trujillo lands a big elbow.
Dadaeff is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Dadaeff wants to hold on but Trujillo pushes him away.
Dadaeff wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Trujillo.
Dadaeff is looking to get to half guard.
Trujillo looking to control but Dadaeff is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Trujillo misses with some ground and pound and Dadaeff recovers position to half guard.
Trujillo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dadaeff!

Trujillo cracks Dadaeff with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Trujillo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dominic Trujillo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dadaeff misses with an uppercut. Trujillo saw that one coming.
Dadaeff looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dominic Trujillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dadaeff ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trujillo moves away.
Daday Dadaeff is winning the standup battle so far.
Dadaeff fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dadaeff goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dadaeff closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dadaeff tries to score with a low kick but Trujillo moves his leg out of the way.
Trujillo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Trujillo wants to control but Dadaeff is keeping him busy.
Dadaeff stops Trujillo from passing to mount.
Trujillo in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Dadaeff looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Trujillo turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Dominic Trujillo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
