Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheldy Foote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stanislav Strakapoud!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strakapoud dives in for a single leg takedown but Foote sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Strakapoud tries for a takedown but Foote sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Strakapoud avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Strakapoud shoots in for a takedown but Foote shows good takedown defense.
Strakapoud just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFoote.
Strakapoud has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Sheldy Foote has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanislav Strakapoud.
Strakapoud misses with a takedown attempt - Foote sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Foote appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Strakapoud shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foote as he avoids it easily.
Strakapoud tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Foote defends well and Strakapoud ends up having to push Foote into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Strakapoud tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Foote swivels and escapes.
Foote definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Strakapoud is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Foote is aware though and is defending well.
Foote wants to get up but he can't break Strakapoud's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Strakapoud has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foote can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foote is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Foote is posturing up here but Strakapoud has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Foote tries to roll out but it's too tight and Foote has to tap! Slick submission there by Strakapoud!
