Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire moves away from the strike by Troyer.
Troyer jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Zaire closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zaire lands in his opponent's guard.

Zaire drops back looking for a leg! Troyer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Troyer manages to kick Zaire off! Zaire jumps back into Troyer's guard.
Troyer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Troyer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Zaire throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Zaire is stalling in the full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Zaire seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Troyer for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Zaire tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zaire doesn't manage to clinch there - Troyer circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
