Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyota tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dai looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Toyota!
Dai in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Toyota is holding Dai down, trying to stall.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dai decides to stand up, so the ref orders Toyota to his feet.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Toyota.
Dai shoots in looking for a takedown but Toyota manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dai's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dai has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Toyota is trying to keep an underhook but Dai manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dai thows a huge punch but Toyota dodges it nicely.
Well, if Dai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Toyota tries to roll over but Dai keeps him under control.

Toyota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dai stands up and beckons Toyota to join him on the feet.

Dai bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dai tries for a kimura but Toyota is defending well.
Dai is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Toyota will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Dai has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Toyota is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dai yanks on the arm and Toyota is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dai.
