Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenneth Wells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fuji Kasai! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells stalks Kasai and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kasai's face. Kasai staggers backwards, shaken. Wells cracks Kasai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wells has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kasai to stand back up!
Kasai is rocked! Kasai with a poor takedown and Wells counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Kasai to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Wells!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kenneth Wells! Kenneth Wells seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. In defeat, Fuji Kasai stepped up to the mic, saying 'Welp'.
