Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pinero Chai (ranked 2165 p4p, 1563 weight class) and Rimtas Kentas (ranked 281 p4p, 212 weight class). Chai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Styles P - Off The Ghost. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pinero Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai tries to work over Kentas's front leg with a kick but Kentas checks it.
Kentas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kentas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chai defends it nicely.
Chai has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Torcida MMA in the buildup to the fight.
A low kick from Chai is predictable there

and Kentas counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Chai wants to stand back up but Kentas manages to pass into side control.
Chai is not content to let Kentas control the position.
Chai wants to get back to his feet but Kentas drags him back down.

Chai bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Kentas fails to land the takedown.
Kentas slips a jab from Chai.
Kentas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chai.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kentas shoots in looking for a takedown but Chai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kentas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pinero Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rimtas Kentas.

Chai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kentas has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kentas there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pinero Chai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kentas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chai avoids it really well and circles away.
Kentas dives in for a single leg takedown but Chai sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nice takedown defense from Chai. No joy for Kentas on that attempt.

Kentas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chai napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kentas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chai can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chai stuffs the takedown.
The fighters circling - Kentas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kentas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chai seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Kentas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chai.
Chai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kentas.
Kentas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Chai slaps away a takedown attempt from Kentas, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Chai fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kentas on the side of the head.
Chai misses with a hook.
A nice side step and Kentas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good work by Kentas as he checks the leg kick.

Chai looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Kentas on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Chai stuns Kentas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Chai fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Chai walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kentas checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Chai throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chai throws a jab but it's blocked by Kentas.
Kentas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chai is fending him off so far but Kentas persists. Nope, Chai circles away and we're back to standing.
Kentas shoots in looking for a takedown. Chai tries to sprawl out of it but Kentas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kentas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chai.
Chai misses with a low kick.
Chai throws an off balance right hand
and Chai takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kentas walks into a stiff left hand from Chai.
Kentas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chai defends it nicely.
Kentas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kentas. That did some damage!
Chai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chai misses with a looping left.
Chai stuffs the takedown attempt from Kentas. Kentas gets slowly back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chai lands a right hook to the body.
Kentas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chai is fending him off so far but Kentas persists. Nope, Chai circles away and we're back to standing.
Kentas dives in and grabs Chai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chai pushes down on Kentas's head and hops out.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That kick from Chai tenderised Kentas's leg. Kentas is trying to keep his angry face on.
Chai misses with a body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kentas or perhaps it was just good defense by Chai, which made it look bad.
Chai feints and then cracks Kentas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kentas down.

Chai is looking to slow Kentas down with leg kicks.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kentas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chai tries to avoid it but Kentas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chai to the ground. Chai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kentas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pinero Chai dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Kentas in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Chai is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rimtas Kentas!
Rimtas Kentas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Pinero Chai had this to say: 'Shit happens ...'.
