Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald just misses with a punch to the body.

White has closed the distance and engaged McDonald in a clinch.
White with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
White is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
McDonald goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McDonald wants to get back to striking at distance but White won't allow it.
White is looking to control McDonald's arms but McDonald gets an underhook and turns him. Now White has his back to the cage.
McDonald can't break the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
White comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

White tries a knee to the head but McDonald blocks it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McDonald has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDonald changes levels and goes for a takedown here. White fights it off and pushes away nicely.

White moves into range and clinches up with McDonald.
McDonald drops to a knee looking for a takedown but White gets the underhooks and prevents it.

McDonald goes for a takedown attempt but White pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

McDonald escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White pulls out of a head kick attempt.

White lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

McDonald lands a left and a right that send White crashing to the mat, dazed. McDonald thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

White is rocked!

It looks like Branson White has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McDonald lands a right hook to the body.
Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White blocks a head kick by McDonald.
McDonald fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
White is breathing heavily.

McDonald circles away from the clinch attempt.
McDonald throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McDonald throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
White was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
McDonald cracks White with a hook to the temple - White is on wobbly legs here! McDonald swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! White falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McDonald wins by TKO!
