Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rose (ranked 24734 p4p, 4145 weight class) and Bruno Butch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Butch! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butch gets tackled into the cage by Rose. Rose maintains the clinch. Rose using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
A short uppercut from Rose. Rose prevents a takedown attempt there.
Butch is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rose gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Rose ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rose no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Butch drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rose dives on top into guard.
Rose knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Butch on the ground. Butch has a closed guard, preventing Rose from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rose wanted to stand there but Butch had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Butch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rose controls the pace. Rose has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Butch is proving hard to escape from. Rose has gone for a leg lock! Butch slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rose's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Butch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Butch passes Rose's left leg - he's now in half guard. Butch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rose sees it coming and defends easily. Butch moves into full mount! Rose won't be happy about that! Butch goes for an armbar but Rose turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rose. Rose slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rose passes Butch's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Butch looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rose controlling the pace. Nice strikes from Rose there. Rose decides to stand up. Butch gets tackled into the cage by Rose. Rose maintains the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rose manages to break the clinch.
Rose clinches up against the cage. Rose pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A shot to the liver by Rose. Beautiful body shot. A shot to the liver by Rose. Beautiful body shot. Rose misses with a double jab.
Butch drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rose defends it well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rose shoots in and bounces Butch off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rose's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Rose dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rose fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Butch sprawls well initially but Rose persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Butch has hold of Rose's hands but Rose slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rose is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Butch can do to turn this around? Rose is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Butch looking for submissions off his back. Butch looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose tries to pass to full mount but Butch defends it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rose is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Butch has managed to free his arm - good work. We've been informed that Butch has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Rose seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rose winds up and cracks Butch with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butch moves into full guard.
Rose controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Butch has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rose doesn't defend quickly enough and Butch has managed to lock this one up! Can Rose escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Butch on a fantastic submission victory.
