The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cena wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Jordan as Cena shoots in.
Cena shoots and misses
and Jordan counters with a left to the body.
Cena wants to clinch but Jordan slips to the side
enabling Jordan to counter with a crisp jab.
Cena displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Nice defenses there by Cena.
Jordan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jordan throws out a counter right but Cena avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cena. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jordan misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cena seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Cena takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cena tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jordan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cena gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jordan counters with a huge left! Cena is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jordan isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Cena from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jordan!
