Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Barnes (ranked 1717 p4p, 1298 weight class) and Anzor Dankovich (ranked 218 p4p, 164 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anzor Dankovich!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dankovich feints and then cracks Barnes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barnes down.
Barnes throws an overhand right that lands on Dankovich's shoulder, as Dankovich tries to avoid the shot.
Dankovich appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Dankovich buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Barnes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dankovich. Barnes does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've been told by Barnes's head coaches at Mentor Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dankovich cracks Barnes with an open hand slap.

Barnes went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dankovich turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Barnes tries to break the clinch but Dankovich is controlling the position.

Dankovich throws a punch but it's blocked by Barnes.
Barnes blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dankovich creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barnes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dankovich goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Barnes avoids a wild elbow strike from Dankovich.

It looks like Vic Barnes has been cut.

Dankovich has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barnes finds it's way round the side to connect with Dankovich's head.
Barnes throws a low kick, looking for Dankovich's leg but Dankovich calmly moves out of range.
Dankovich takes the fight into the clinch.
Dankovich unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Barnes! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Dankovich is unloading with more strikes now! Barnes drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anzor Dankovich!
Anzor Dankovich decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
