With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clayton Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels slips a jab from Smif.
Bill Smif seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smif blocks a head kick by Daniels.
Daniels looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Smif uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Daniels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smif's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Smif to see if he's OK.
Smif tries to improve position but can't.

Daniels is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smif is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Smif is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Smif on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smif tries to get out of the position.

Daniels has hold of Smif's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Smif seems comfortable defending it but Daniels has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Smif is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Smif is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Daniels couldn't care less - he's delighted!
