This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 13 losses; Harry Hirsch! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 7 losses; Devlin Draco!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.

Hirsch closes the distance and clinches up with Draco, looking for a takedown. Hirsch pushes Draco against the cage but Draco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hirsch is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Draco to keep the fight standing.

Hirsch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Draco had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hirsch defends it easily.
Draco can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hirsch controls the pace.

Draco has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hirsch is working away from the top position though.
Draco tries to roll over but Hirsch keeps him under control.

Hirsch tries to pass to full mount but Draco defends it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Draco tries to roll over but Hirsch keeps him under control.

Hirsch tries to advance to mount but Draco denies him.

Draco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hirsch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hirsch controls Draco momentarily but Draco frees himself.
Draco trying to control the position from guard on top but Hirsch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Draco content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hirsch has locked up a guillotine! Hirsch's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Draco is holding on here and Hirsch must be using up a lot of energy. Draco has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hirsch gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
