CWC 253 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 12 losses; Ceph Alopodis! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 0 losses; Toshi Hijikata!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Alopodis leaves Hijikata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alopodis goes for a double leg but Hijikata avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hijikata continues to drive forward.
