This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 26 wins and 18 losses; Rolf Ottke! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Ottke is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gatsby sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ottke tries to sprawl but Gatsby drives through with a takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Gatsby (2) vs (0) Ottke Gatsby trying to control the action but Ottke is working from the bottom. Ottke wants to improve his position but Gatsby is controlling well.
Gatsby is trying to control the action in half guard but Ottke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ottke tries to bench press Gatsby off him but Gatsby keeps the position. Ottke is trying to control Gatsby's posture but Gatsby avoids it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Gatsby tries to advance to mount but Ottke denies him.
Gatsby looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ottke tries to buck Gatsby off but Gatsby is having none of it.
Gatsby is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ottke has escaped the position, nice work there.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ottke wants to control but Gatsby postures up. Ottke is trying to get back to half guard.
Gatsby thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ottke is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ottke wants to control but Gatsby is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ottke wants to get back to full guard. Gatsby trying to control the action but Ottke is working from the bottom. Ottke controlling the position well.

Gatsby is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ottke defends it well. Ottke works his way to full guard. Good work. Ottke keeping full guard, as Gatsby tries to pass.

Gatsby drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ottke dives on top into guard. Gatsby not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gatsby has his feet on Ottke's thighs here. He's pushed Ottke off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ottke screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
