This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 12 losses; Able Archer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 38 wins and 28 losses; Dado Mata!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Mata shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Archer as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mata or perhaps it was just good defense by Archer, which made it look bad.
Archer drives through and clinches with Mata against the cage.
Archer tries to pull guard but Mata won't allow it.
Mata wants a takedown.
Able Archer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dado Mata.
Mata has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Archer is trying to keep an underhook but Mata manages to get the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Archer (0) vs (2) Mata

Mata is posturing up here but Archer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mata tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mata has to tap! Slick submission there by Archer!
