Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 4628 p4p, 4596 weight class) and Milos Obilic (ranked 528 p4p, 526 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Burns! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milos Obilic! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns misses with a body punch
and Obilic counters with a lovely shot to the body. Burns lands with an overhand left. Burns throws a solid leg kick but Obilic takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Burns. Obilic appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Obilic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Obilic lands an overhand right.
It looks like Brian Burns has been cut. Obilic drops his hands momentarily and Burns takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Burns thows a left - swing and a miss! Obilic now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Burns walks into a jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Obilic. Burns does a little dance to reset his feet. Burns cracks Obilic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Burns tries for a takedown but Obilic circles away easily and Obilic counters with a series of strikes. Burns will be more careful next time no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Burns lands a really nice looking cross but Obilic seems unphased.
Burns needs to keep his hands up - Obilic had a free shot at his head there. The crowd cheers as Burns lands an impressive looking overhand right. Obilic doesn't seem phased though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Obilic as he connects with a hook. Burns misses with a right hand and Obilic counters with a lovely straight right hand! Burns takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Burns is rocked!
Brian Burns's cut is getting worse. Burns moves into range and connects with a jab. Burns swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Obilic. Burns throws a combination that misses and Obilic counters with a straight right hand. Nice cross by Burns. Burns with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Obilic lands a big right hand that sends Burns crashing to the mat! Obilic stays standing though and waves Burns back to his feet! Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Obilic throws an uppercut from hell that sends Burns clean off his feet! He's out cold! Obilic stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Milos Obilic! Milos Obilic is the new light heavyweight champion! Milos Obilic spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
