The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor throws a leg kick but Lapilus checks it.
It seemed like Lapilus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mcgregor blocks a leg kick.
A quick step to the side and Mcgregor tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mcgregor misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mcgregor throws a leg kick that is checked
and Lapilus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lapilus.
A bit of stalling here from Lapilus.
Mcgregor wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mcgregor .
Mcgregor is looking to break free of the clinch but Lapilus has double underhooks.
Lapilus gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Mcgregor is trying to stand back up but Lapilus is controlling him

Mcgregor wants to get back to his feet but Lapilus drags him back down.
