Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Neer (ranked 3553 p4p, 3777 weight class) and Kohinata Minoru Ii (ranked 463 p4p, 488 weight class). Neer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Back In Black. Kohinata Minoru Ii will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minoru Ii misses with a wild combination.
Minoru Ii misses with a few strikes there.
Minoru Ii throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Neer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Neer lands with a punch from half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neer moves nicely into side control.
Neer is putting a hurting on Minoru Ii here, landing some big shots from side control.

Neer has an Americana. Minoru Ii didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Neer is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Neer hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Luke Neer was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
