Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sanninen (ranked 1153 p4p, 1465 weight class) and Edward Grubbs (ranked 173 p4p, 210 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Sanninen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Grubbs!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grubbs lands a jab to Sanninen's midsection.
Sanninen scores with a spinning back kick!
Grubbs looks to land a right hand but Sanninen moved out of range.
Grubbs tests Sanninen's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Sanninen lands with a nice body punch.
Edward Grubbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanninen digs a good hook to Grubbs's body.
Grubbs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've been hearing reports that Sanninen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A punch lands to the side of Sanninen 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Sanninen is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanninen. Grubbs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oh Sanninen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanninen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Grubbs on the side of the head.
Sanninen seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanninen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grubbs throws out the jab.
Sanninen is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Sanninen takes a swing at Grubbs's ribcage but misses.
Grubbs looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Grubbs moves out of range of the strikes.
Grubbs thuds his right hand into Sanninen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Grubbs lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Sanninen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Grubbs and Sanninen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Grubbs.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward Grubbs!
An out of breath Edward Grubbs thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Daniel Sanninen spoke after the fight, saying 'Opponent fought well. Congratulations. Back to the training. I'll be back!'.
