Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Road Warrior Hawk (ranked 1681 p4p, 1967 weight class) and Gee Gutsu (ranked 237 p4p, 271 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gee Gutsu!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Hawk.
A big left from Hawk misses.
Gutsu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gutsu lands in his opponent's guard.
Gutsu wants to control from the top but Hawk keeps moving.
Hawk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gutsu is fighting to break Hawk's control of his arms but Hawk is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gutsu is trying to get an arm triangle but Hawk is defending well.
Gutsu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hawk is trying to escape and Gutsu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hawk is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gutsu! Very nice indeed!
