Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Poutine (ranked 3900 p4p, 2602 weight class) and Michael Hobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Poutine looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 19 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pat Poutine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Hobo!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poutine darts in trying to clinch
and Hobo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Poutine's guard.

Poutine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hobo walks away with a smile on his face. Poutine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hobo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Poutine swivels and escapes.
Hobo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poutine tries to avoid it but Hobo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poutine to the ground. Poutine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hobo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poutine as he jumps to the side.

Hobo wants to clinch up but Poutine keeps it at a distance.
Oh Poutine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Poutine went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hobo shoots in and drives through. Poutine sprawls well.

and Poutine holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Poutine seems to have got his legs back now.
Hobo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poutine avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hobo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Poutine after a bit of a struggle.

Poutine ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Poutine no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hobo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Poutine scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hobo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hobo stands and salutes the crowd.
