Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aladin Carpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reilly Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aladin Carpet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reilly Bell! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bell closes the distance and clinches up with Carpet, looking for a takedown. Bell pushes Carpet against the cage but Carpet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Carpet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Aladin Carpet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reilly Bell. Bell has a takedown stuffed. Bell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carpet pinned against the cage. Carpet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell shoots for a takedown but Carpet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carpet swats away the attempt to clinch by Bell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carpet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Carpet pushing down on Bell's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Carpet content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bell looking for a kimura from the bottom but Carpet passes into side control! Carpet in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell tries to buck Carpet off but Carpet is having none of it. Carpet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carpet trying to control the position but Bell is working away. Bell tries to buck Carpet off but Carpet is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carpet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working. Carpet tries for a kimura but Bell is defending well. Carpet is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bell's shoulder. That is not cool. Carpet working away.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Carpet moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carpet tries a knee to the head but Bell blocks it.
Carpet turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Carpet looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Carpet is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bell has escaped the position, nice work there. Bell wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Bell manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Carpet keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aladin Carpet dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Carpet counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bell looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Carpet is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carpet. Carpet is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Bell has managed to free his arm - good work. Carpet wants to pass to mount but Bell is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell is refusing to be controlled, as Carpet sits in half guard. Bell is looking to improve his position.
Carpet takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Carpet seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bell for as long as he can get away with. Bell is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Carpet has latched onto it... Big trouble! Carpet pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bell is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Carpet!
