Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor MccGregor (ranked 5456 p4p, 4819 weight class) and Joe Shinster (ranked 424 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Shinster will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conor MccGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Shinster! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinster looks for a takedown but MccGregor sprawls well. Shinster displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from MccGregor. Despite the aggression on Shinster's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Shinster fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Shinster misses with a low kick. MccGregor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shinster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. MccGregor sets himself, and Shinster steps forward looking for the clinch! MccGregor avoids it this time. MccGregor is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MccGregor throws a sloppy head kick and Shinster counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. MccGregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shinster circles away quickly and effectively. Shinster closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming MccGregor to the mat! MccGregor manages to get full guard. MccGregor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shinster defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinster stands and steps away. MccGregor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Shinster misses with a takedown attempt and MccGregor counters with a one-two to the body. Conor MccGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Shinster. MccGregor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shinster did well to prevent MccGregor getting side control. Shinster is holding on to half guard well. MccGregor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shinster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time MccGregor. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shinster is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinster gets back to full guard.
Shinster wants to sweep here but MccGregor controlling him for the moment. MccGregor throws a big elbow that misses. Shinster is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Shinster seems keen to control MccGregor's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinster is continuing to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Shinster clinches with his opponent.
MccGregor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shinster just stands there and leans against the cage. Shinster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but MccGregor has him pressed against the cage. Shinster manages to pull guard.
Shinster is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shinster has MccGregor pulled in close to control his posture. Shinster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MccGregor manages to get himself to full guard.
Shinster controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Shinster dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! MccGregor slaps away a takedown attempt from Shinster, before circling back to the center of the mat. Shinster takes the fight into the clinch. Shinster working hard to break the clinch. MccGregor is trying to pull guard but Shinster has him pressed against the cage. Shinster is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Shinster slows down the pace here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shinster is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. MccGregor is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shinster is defending well.

MccGregor stalling in the clinch but Shinster improves position. Shinster tries for a takedown but MccGregor manages to get underhooks.

Joe Shinster has got the better of the ground game so far. MccGregor trying to control the position from guard on top but Shinster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MccGregor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shinster looking for a guillotine here but MccGregor defends easily.
MccGregor wants to control from the top but Shinster keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shinster is on top in guard.
MccGregor is looking to stand back up but Shinster counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by MccGregor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinster thows a huge punch but MccGregor dodges it nicely.
Shinster controlling the pace. Shinster works his way into side control. Shinster controlling the position from side mount. Shinster's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shinster working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Shinster is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. MccGregor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shinster on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shinster decides to stand up, so the ref orders MccGregor to his feet. MccGregor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Shinster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Shinster moves into the clinch. Shinster pulls guard successfully.
MccGregor has gone for a leg lock! Shinster slips out almost immediately though and dives into MccGregor's guard.
Shinster has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Shinster engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. MccGregor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Shinster looking to pass the guard. Shinster is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Shinster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as MccGregor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Shinster landing some decent shots from guard. Shinster pushing down on MccGregor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shinster decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Shinster shoots in but no luck this time. MccGregor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shinster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shinster goes for a double leg but MccGregor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as MccGregor continues to drive forward. A lazy body kick from MccGregor and Shinster counters with a nice double leg into side control. MccGregor won't be happy with that. Shinster just content to control the position. MccGregor is trying to work for a sweep but Shinster has mounted him! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Shinster content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MccGregor tries to reverse the position but Shinster maintains control. MccGregor wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Shinster.
Shinster tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shinster moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, MccGregor has worked his arm free - good work by MccGregor!
MccGregor is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Shinster is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Shinster sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Shinster landing punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Shinster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shinster winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
