Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lewis (ranked 3101 p4p, 4909 weight class) and Kevin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Parker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a two punch combination.
Lewis lands with a good body shot.
Parker is looking to clinch.
Lewis is looking to clinch but Parker is avoiding it.
Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lewis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lewis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lewis wants it to stay on the feet.
Lewis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Parker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lewis sprawls well. Lewis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Parker gets slowly back to his feet.
As Parker looks to move away, Lewis throws a big counter combo but Parker just gets out of the way.
Nick Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Parker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lewis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Lewis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parker is one step ahead there.
Lewis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Parker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Parker wants to pass the guard but Lewis is keeping the position.

Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Parker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Parker has managed to clinch.

Parker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Parker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lewis wants to stand but Parker is controlling his posture from full guard.

Parker controls Lewis momentarily but Lewis frees himself.
Lewis working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Parker's head.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Lewis will probably get the nod.

Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parker's waist but Parker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.

Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parker is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold.

Parker is refusing to be controlled, as Lewis sits in half guard.
Lewis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lewis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Parker manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lewis won't allow Parker to sweep him here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Lewis will probably get the nod.

Parker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Lewis sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lewis blocks a leg kick.
Parker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Parker tries to clinch but Lewis moves out of range.
Lewis appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Parker misses with a kick to the body
and Lewis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Parker sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lewis dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Lewis's head and hops out.

Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lewis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Lewis counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Parker thinking.

Parker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Parker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lewis smiles and moves away.
Parker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lewis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lewis fails to land the takedown.
Parker shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lewis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parker defends well and Lewis ends up having to push Parker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Parker tries to counter by closing the distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Parker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kevin Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lewis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
