Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, TyQuinton Babers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rory Roshi! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Roshi. Babers drives through and clinches with Roshi against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Babers has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Roshi tries to work over Babers's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Roshi breaks the clinch.
Roshi misses with a looping left. Jab, jab by Babers - just one landing. Roshi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Roshi manages to break the clinch.
Babers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Roshi under the eye. Roshi clinches with his opponent.
A left hand lands to the body for Roshi.
Roshi blocks a body shot from Babers. Roshi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Baberss head. Roshi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Babers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Roshi. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Babers moves into the clinch. Roshi breaks from the clinch.
Roshi throws a shot from downtown. Babers moves away and avoids it. Babers misses with a wild body shot. Babers blocks a jab. Babers lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roshi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Roshi takes a jab right on the kisser.
Babers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roshi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Babers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Roshi closes the distance and clinches. Babers lands a right hand. Roshi avoids a wild elbow strike from Babers. Babers goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Roshi is trying to break the clinch but Babers has him pressed against the cage. Roshi tries to throw a body punch but Babers avoids it by throwing Roshi back against the cage. Roshi blocks the elbow strike.
Babers lands a nice elbow. Babers prevents a body shot from Roshi. Babers lands a damaging elbow.
Roshi is rocked!
It looks like Rory Roshi has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roshi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Babers's elbow. Roshi is still on wobbly legs! Can Babers finish him? An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Roshi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Babers has control of Roshi and unloads with a rapid fire barage of elbows, sending Roshi crashing to the mat! Roshi looks in big trouble - I don't think he's going to beat the count! He hasn't! The referee has reached 10 and this fight is all over! Babers looks delighted, as well he should.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Elbows). TyQuinton Babers! TyQuinton Babers decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
