Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Labosky (ranked 2708 p4p, 4270 weight class) and Thor Fresh (ranked 266 p4p, 382 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 54 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Fresh! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fresh moves out of range of the leg kick from Labosky. The fight moves into the clinch position. A frustrated look appears on Labosky's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fresh lands with a left to the head. Fresh misses with a hook to the ribs.

Fresh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Labosky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Fresh pulls Labosky into guard.
Fresh looking to control.
Fresh has his foot on Labosky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Labosky works his way back into a safe position though. Fresh is looking for a triangle but Labosky pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fresh pulls Labosky in close to his closed guard and prevents Labosky from doing any damage or advancing position. Fresh keeping moving, preventing Labosky from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Labosky wanted to stand there but Fresh had control of the position. Labosky wants to control from the top but Fresh keeps moving. Fresh looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Labosky trying to control the position from guard on top but Fresh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fresh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Labosky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Labosky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fresh is looking for a triangle but Labosky pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Labosky stops Fresh from standing up. Fresh seems keen to control Labosky's posture. Labosky is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fresh has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Labosky is looking to defend but Fresh has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Labosky! Fresh pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Labosky taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Thor Fresh! Thor Fresh looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I finally got me a good team, I had a great camp. I want to thank my team Bolo, Lars, and Juice. This is a team win'.
