Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Seehaver (ranked 2767 p4p, 3971 weight class) and Orion Struss (ranked 353 p4p, 452 weight class). Struss is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lil Gnar - New Bugatti. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Kyle Seehaver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orion Struss! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seehaver takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Struss misses with a double jab.
Kyle Seehaver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Left hook, right uppercut from Struss. Seehaver looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Seehaver stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Struss to get to his feet. Struss dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Seehaver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Struss makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good exchange - Struss coming out on top. Struss lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Struss throws a series of punches but Seehaver moves out of range. Seehaver is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Struss. Seehaver shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Seehaver is breathing heavily.

Struss has one foot on Seehaver's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Nice shot lands for Struss. Seehaver closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Struss's guard. Struss can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Seehaver controls the pace. Struss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Struss wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seehaver won't allow Struss to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Struss is trying to control the position but Seehaver postures up. Struss pulls Seehaver in close to prevent any damage. Seehaver won't allow Struss to get back to his feet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Seehaver controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Seehaver gets a double leg takedown into Struss's guard. Struss wants to sweep here but Seehaver controlling him for the moment. Struss is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Seehaver is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seehaver's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Struss is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Struss sizes up Seehaver with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Seehaver takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Seehaver wants to pass the guard but Struss is keeping the position. Struss looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Seehaver slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Struss has his hands on Seehaver's head, controlling the position. Seehaver is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Seehaver preventing the sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Orion Struss dominated that round. That's time! Seehaver's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Struss misses with a two punch combination.

Struss connects with a jab. Seehaver throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Struss tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Seehaver is in Struss's guard. Seehaver prevents Struss from getting back to his feet. Seehaver showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seehaver won't allow Struss to sweep him here. Struss controls Seehaver momentarily but Seehaver frees himself. Struss wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Struss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Seehaver. Struss connects with a looping right hand.
Struss gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Struss has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Seehaver is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Struss breaks from the clinch.
Seehaver on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Struss throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Struss is still trying to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seehaver is taking a breather. Struss says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Seehaver. Struss throws Seehaver to one side and escapes! Seehaver blocks the body kick.
Struss throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Seehaver looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Struss cracks Seehaver with an open hand slap. Struss thuds his right hand into Seehaver's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Seehaver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Seehaver showed some decent athleticism there. Struss won't allow Seehaver to pass to mount. Struss tries to get to full guard but Seehaver has control of the leg. Struss is trying to stand back up but Seehaver is controlling him
Struss is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Struss has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Struss is looking for a sweep. Seehaver is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Struss is looking to escape. Seehaver is taking a breather. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Seehaver shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Struss's guard. Struss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Seehaver controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Struss wants to stand up but Seehaver is controlling him. Seehaver engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Struss is looking to stand up but Seehaver isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seehaver won't allow Struss to sweep him here. Seehaver drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Struss manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Seehaver has Struss in his guard.
Struss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Struss wants to stand but Seehaver has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Struss trying to control but Seehaver is working from the bottom. Seehaver looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Struss misses with a body kick. Orion Struss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Seehaver slips a jab and a cross from Struss.
Seehaver half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Seehaver looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Struss! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Seehaver wants to control but Struss is keeping him busy. Kyle Seehaver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! You can see the frustration on Struss's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Seehaver showed his dominance in that final round. I think Struss has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
