Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Babinski (ranked 43 p4p, 109 weight class) and Olli Lindholm (ranked 9 p4p, 20 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Babinski! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Olli Lindholm! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindholm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Babinski's head backwards. Lindholm misses with a body kick. It appears Babinski was looking to counter with a kick there. Babinski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Babinski misses with a looping right. Lindholm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Babinski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Babinski avoids the body shot from Lindholm.
It looked like Babinski was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Babinski definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A thudding body kick lands there by Babinski!
Babinski takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lindholm throws a nice head kick!
Lindholm scores with a jab. Babinski acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice uppercut lands for Lindholm. That snapped Babinski's head back.
Babinski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lindholm. Lindholm swings widly with a right hand
and Babinski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lindholm connects with a right hand. Babinski shakes it off. Lindholm is looking to clinch. Lindholm misses with a wild body shot. Lindholm lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lindholm darts in and clinches Babinski up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindholm misses with the head strike.

Lindholm lands with a right to the head. Babinski working some nice short punches in the clinch. Lindholm has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lindholm creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Lindholm fails to land. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lindholm. Babinski working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Lindholm tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A left hand lands to the body for Babinski.

Babinski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lindholm backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lindholm. Babinski tries a body shot but Lindholm blocks it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lindholm creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Babinski lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lindholm backwards. Babinski can't find room to land a body shot as Lindholm controls the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lindholm swings wildly with an uppercut but Babinski uses good head movement to avoid it. A shot in the inside from Babinski. A shot in the inside from Babinski. Babinski tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Babinski misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lindholm tries to throw a body punch but Babinski avoids it by throwing Lindholm back against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Lindholm. Babinski misses with a body punch.
Lindholm misses with a hook to the ribs.
Babinski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Lindholm jumps into guard, dragging Babinski to the mat.
Lindholm working for a triangle but Babinski defends it easily.
Lindholm pulls Babinski in to control the position. Babinski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lindholm on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babinski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lindholm has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Lindholm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Babinski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lindholm looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lindholm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Babinski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Babinski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lindholm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Babinski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Babinski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lindholm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Babinski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Babinski controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lindholm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Babinski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Babinski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Olli Lindholm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. A head kick misses from Lindholm. An attempted straight right counter from Babinski misses the target. Lindholm throws a wild body kick that Babinski sees coming a mile off. Babinski throwing a counter right hand but Lindholm manages to avoid it. Babinski misses with a wild body shot. Lindholm lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lindholm throws a lazy head kick and Babinski scores with a counter punch that sends Lindholm to the canvas! Babinski smells blood - he's punishing Lindholm with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lindholm has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Babinski! Viktor Babinski retains his heavyweight title! Viktor Babinski was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
