Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 6297 p4p, 4575 weight class) and Cai Chi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwayne Johnson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chi's guard.

Chi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chi closes the distance and clinches.
Johnson is looking to control Chi's arms but Chi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Johnson has his back to the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A frustrated look appears on Johnson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chi prevents Johnson from breaking the clinch.
Johnson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chi after a bit of a struggle.
With the fighters up against the cage, Chi throws an elbow but misses.

Chi manages to pull guard.
Chi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chi is working away from the top position though.

Chi is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dwayne Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cai Chi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Chi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Well Chi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
