Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between De Rit Li Quit (ranked 3017 p4p, 3996 weight class) and Matt Smith (ranked 384 p4p, 478 weight class). Li Quit comes to the cage accompanied by fuck you. De Rit Li Quit has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, De Rit Li Quit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Smith!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li Quit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Li Quit could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Li Quit slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Li Quit. Those never looked like landing.
Smith drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Li Quit defends it well.
Li Quit scores with a body shot.
Li Quit just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith goes for a double leg but Li Quit avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Li Quit continues to drive forward.
A little feinted left hand from Li Quit on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Smith gets the takedown into side control.
Li Quit struggling a bit here.
Smith lands a nice forearm strike.
Smith controls the position from side control.
Smith lands an elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith staying calm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li Quit is trying to get back to half guard.
Smith connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Li Quit some visible discomfort.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Smith working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Smith controlling the position.
Smith scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Li Quit to see if he's OK.
Li Quit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Li Quit tries to get out of the position.
Smith is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Li Quit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Smith cracks Li Quit with a big elbow.
Smith landing strikes.
A lull in the action here as Smith stalls from top position.
Li Quit on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Smith lands a nice forearm strike.
Smith working the body and head with strikes.
Check out the look on Smith's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smith cracks Li Quit with a big right hand but Li Quit just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Li Quit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith lands a strong strike to the head of Li Quit. That's dazed him! Smith looking to finish here. Li Quit is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Smith lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

A very excited looking Matt Smith made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
De Rit Li Quit spoke after the fight, saying 'Whatevery, I still got the money.'.
