Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Roipe (ranked 5422 p4p, 23731 weight class) and Theros Ironfeld (ranked 547 p4p, 621 weight class). Jussi Roipe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Theros Ironfeld's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Theros Ironfeld!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roipe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ironfeld as he avoids it easily.
Ironfeld ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ironfeld looks to score with a jab to the body but Roipe is just out of range.

and Ironfeld counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Roipe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Horrible takedown attempt by Roipe or perhaps it was just good defense by Ironfeld, which made it look bad.
