Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joachim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevy Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joachim Hansen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kevy Balls's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Balls looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hansen.
Hansen wants to control but Balls is keeping him busy.
Balls tries to buck Hansen off but Hansen is having none of it.

Balls parries the strikes from Hansen easily there. Hansen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Balls to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hansen wants to free his trapped foot but Balls is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hansen wants to control from the top but Balls keeps moving.
Balls bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hansen's guard.
Hansen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Balls manages to get himself to full guard.
Balls can't keep his opponent in guard - Hansen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Balls is staying active underneath Hansen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hansen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Balls manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hansen has Balls in his guard.
Balls passes Hansen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Balls prevents Hansen from improving his position.
Hansen is working hard here to advance position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Balls is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Balls is nestled in close to Hansen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joachim Hansen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hansen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
