Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24167 p4p, 6561 weight class) and Affectionately Eve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Affectionately Eve has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Affectionately Eve!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Eve closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Eve pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Eve avoids it.
Eve dives in and scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard.
Salvacion keeping full guard, as Eve tries to pass.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Salvacion has a closed guard, preventing Eve from standing up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eve is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Nice sprawl there from Eve as Salvacion shoots in.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Salvacion fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Eve sprawls well initially but Salvacion persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Eve is trying to stand up here but Salvacion is controlling him well.

Salvacion stops Eve from getting back to his feet.

Eve's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Eve is continuing to stall.

Salvacion throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Eve will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Eve feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Eve decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Eve goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward.

Eve drives through with a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eve swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Eve, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Eve against the cage but Eve circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well Eve has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
