Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Brian Baker (ranked 17364 p4p, 19659 weight class) and Ao Kuang (ranked 659 p4p, 653 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 23 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ao Kuang!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Baker misses its intended target.
Kuang throws a lazy uppercut
and Baker counters with a nice body shot.
Kuang is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Brian Baker has been cut.
Kuang misses with a body kick.
Kuang throws a push kick but Baker slaps the foot to one side.
Baker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kuang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Baker closes the distance and pushes Kuang back into the ropes.
Kuang misses with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kuang.
Kuang tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kuang manages to break the clinch.
Kuang scores with a spinning back kick!
Kuang lands a nice shot to the body.
Kuang has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baker tries to clinch but Kuang is having none of it.
Baker loads up on a big right hand but Kuang slips the punch.
Baker moves out of range of the body kick from Kuang.
Baker throwing a counter right hand but Kuang manages to avoid it.
Baker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Baker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kuang.
Baker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kuang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuang keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Baker.
A good leg kick by Kuang.
Baker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Baker!
Baker cracks Kuang with an open hand slap.
Kuang misses with the body kick
and Kuang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kuang jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kuang connects with a nice looking jab.
A jab lands there for Kuang.
Baker tries to clinch up but Kuang circles away and keeps his distance.
Baker misses with a hook. Kuang ducked under it nicely.
Baker gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kuang.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baker has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kuang.

Baker ducks into a a hook from Kuang and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Baker is rocked!

Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kuang scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

A slapping body kick lands there for Kuang.
Baker is breathing heavily.
Kuang knocks out Baker with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Kuang before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Kuang picks up the big W with a huge KO!
