Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Purjo Pekka Koistinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 34 - 1, fighting out of New York, Juanito Cortez!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koistinen defending well as Cortez loads up on a big left hand.
As Cortez tries to get set, Koistinen tries to push him back and clinch up but Cortez manages to avoid the attempt.
Cortez throws a leg kick but Koistinen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Cortez swats away the attempt to clinch by Koistinen.
Nice shot lands for Cortez.
Cortez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Koistinen under the eye.
Cortez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koistinen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Koistinen tries to clinch but Cortez moves out of range.
Koistinen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A jab lands there for Cortez.
Cortez misses with a low kick as Koistinen jumps back.
Cortez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nice body kick from Cortez.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circling - Koistinen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cortez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Koistinen rushes Cortez and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Cortez has had enough of the clinch but Koistinen keeps him there for the moment.
Koistinen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cortez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Koistinen is defending well for now.

Koistinen tries a knee to the head but Cortez blocks it.
Cortez wants to break the clinch but can't.
Koistinen landing knees to the head.
Koistinen lands a nice shot to the body.
Cortez throws a knee to the head but misses.

Koistinen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Cortez is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cortez seems to have recovered his senses.

Koistinen misses with a knee to the head.

Koistinen drops Cortez with a big knee! Will Cortez beat the count? Yep, he's up already and we're only at 3... let's see if he's just faking it or if he's actually OK.
Cortez is looking to chop away at Koistinen's legs.
Koistinen blocks a low kick nicely.

and Koistinen counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Cortez onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
Cortez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koistinen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cortez walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

A very excited looking Purjo Pekka Koistinen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Juanito Cortez spoke after the fight, saying 'Well...shit happens....i will b back!'.
