Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cole Miller (ranked 21803 p4p, 3667 weight class) and Luis Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vega has chosen Truth - Atomic thunder as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cole Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Luis Vega!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Vega checks a leg kick nicely.
Vega throws a sloppy body shot
and Miller counters with a straight right hand.
Vega walks into a stiff left hand from Miller.
Vega paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
An inside leg kick lands from Miller.
Miller scores with the left hand. Vega knows he should have avoided that one.
Miller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vega. Vega circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vega misses with an uppercut.

and Miller counters with a good low kick that Vega was not able to check.
Miller misses with a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Vega does a little dance to reset his feet.
A nice side step and Vega releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Miller punishes Vega's body with a nice straight punch.
Miller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vega stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Miller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Miller misses with a hook. Vega ducked under it nicely.
A jab from Miller finds it's way through Vega's defenses.

Miller takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vega checks the leg kick.
Vega throws a shot to the body.
Vega throws a shot from downtown. Miller moves away and avoids it.
Nice uppercut lands for Miller. That snapped Vega's head back.
A swing and a miss from Miller.
Miller pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vega walks forward, straight into a front kick from Miller.
A jab from Miller finds it's way through Vega's defenses.

Miller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Miller connects with a right hand. Vega shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller scores with a jab. Vega acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Donk. Miller catches Vega right on the button with a cross.
Vega looks to land a right hand but Miller moved out of range.
Miller misses with a straight right.
Miller staying out of range there.
Vega pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Miller scores with a punch to the head.
Miller cracks Vega with an open hand slap.
A slapping leg kick lands for Miller.
Miller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Miller is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Vega takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vega throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Miller - that will leave a mark!
Cole Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vega misses with a body shot
letting Miller counter with a right hand.
Miller throws a front kick that sends Vega stumbling back into the cage.
A jab from Vega finds it's way through Miller's defenses.
Vega chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miller can pounce on him.
Miller bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vega's head backwards.
Vega throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Miller looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Miller scoring well with a low kick there.
Vega throws a predictable looking body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A jab lands there for Miller.
An inside leg kick lands from Miller.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vega looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Vega throws a poor cross that misses
and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Vega throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.
Miller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vega on the side of the head.
Vega misses with an uppercut.
Miller jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Miller just misses with a punch to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vega! But no joy.
Vega throws a looping overhand right but Miller ducks down to avoid it.
Miller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Miller lands with a thumping leg kick.
Miller throws a leg kick which misses Vega's front leg but catches the back leg as Vega tries to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Miller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vega.
Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vega under the eye.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Miller dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Vega closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miller did well to prevent Vega getting side control.
Miller is staying active underneath Vega, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Vega tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Vega is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Vega is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Vega eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vega works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vega jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miller manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vega can do to turn this around?
Miller is not content to let Vega control the position.
Miller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miller tries to get out of the position.
Vega tries for a kimura but Miller is defending well.
Vega in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Miller is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
