Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corona Virus (ranked 939 p4p, 1620 weight class) and Roman Ship (ranked 22 p4p, 49 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Corona Virus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ship!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Ship.
Ship misses with a leg kick
and Virus counters with a right hand to the body.
Virus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ship tries to clinch up but Virus circles away and keeps his distance.
Ship moves out of range of the strikes.
Ship has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ship tries for a takedown but Virus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ship fails in his attempt to clinch.
Virus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ship.
Ship throws a body shot but no joy.
Ship shoots in but Virus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ship misses with a jab to the body
and Virus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Roman Ship has been cut.
Virus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Virus blocks a leg kick.
Ship tries to close the distance and clinch up but Virus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ship fails with a takedown attempt.
Corona Virus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Ship.
Ship misses with a jab to the body
and Ship takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ship scores with the left hand. Virus knows he should have avoided that one.
Virus throws a jab when Ship was well out of range.
Ship misses with a takedown attempt
and Virus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ship thinking.
Virus works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Virus. Ship does a little dance to reset his feet.
Virus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ship tries to clinch but Virus moves away
and Virus counters with a crisp right that sends Ship to the canvas! Virus follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corona Virus!
Corona Virus decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
