The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kay slips a straight right by Graines.
Kay attempts a counter takedown but Graines avoids it well and moves away.

Kay closes the distance and pushes Graines back into the cage.
Kay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kay takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kay tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Graines's elbow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graines has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kay clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Kay is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Graines is just riding it out for now. Kay eventually gives up the hold.

Kay lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Graines quite badly. Graines pulls Kay in close trying to recover. Kay postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Graines on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Graines doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
